A close friend of mine urged me to blog. Maybe I really should.

13 years ago, I became a designer… had my fair share of advertising, design, print and multi-media agencies before finally establishing my creative boutique agency. Attaining two international photography competitions awards brought new meaning to light drawing.

What do you do, seriously?

What can I say? The JOY of wrecking my brains conjuring concepts and artwork for clients... the TORTURE of over-using ellipsis and artheads... the WONDERS of seeing photography come to life... the ROLL of the eyes when clients start to nag, the FLASH of the teeth when paycheck comes. I contribute to the community during my spare hours by lecturing part time at local institutes. On top of that, I am currently pursuing a Master of Cross-Disciplinary Art and Design from UNSW. Let's talk about time-management. Sheesh.

Sounds really cool, so what's ordinary about you?

Just another lad who loves the guitar, grew from a self-studied sing-along guitarist to an experimentalist. I looked upon the six stringed instrument as a channel for me to relax during a good day, or venting during a bad project day. Despite the digital age, I still take photographs in negatives, slides and medium formats. Reading brings me to places I have been, never been or can never go, whether it is the fantasy world of dragons and wizards to a grotesque murder on the streets of New York, it educates me from all aspects — in all aspects.

Nothing is more dangerous in this world than bored cats and amateurs.
